Away from my heart my mind tends to stay apart
Reoccurring foolish decisions rationality is off
When you start love, reality starts changing
Your brain loses control while your heart becomes bold
Making decisions on instincts that’s derived from your soul
A connection warm enough to let you survive through the cold
I guess its understandable why people make the same mistakes time after time
The mind becoming blind, can’t see between the lines, or decipher all the signs
That’s leading you down path full of depression and wrath
While I’m confessing on slabs
My heart’s progression just lags
Trying fly high and spread my wings just like the eagles
Doubt is unnecessary while fear branded in evil…
